Physical Therapist (Morgan City/Franklin)

Details: The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Physical Therapist works to help determine a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well being, and evaluates the patient's progress.   Treats patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and / or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice. Instructs and informs participating members of the health care team, the patient, and the family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals. Visits patients according to Plan of Treatment, completes a progress note for each visit, and submits progress notes to the agency at least twice a week. Completes all patient evaluations and develops the PT plan of care within state specific guidelines. Reports outcomes of evaluation, goals, and anticipated projected frequency of care to supervising nurse within 24 hours of the evaluation. Participates in staff conferences and committees as necessary. Provides supervision of the PTA as per LHC policy. Prepares a written discharge summary and/or a written summary report on patient's condition at least every 60 days. Provides in-service education as requested by DON or Branch Manager.

Details: We are currently searching for a Laundry / Drycleaning Professional based onboard our ship on the seas of Hawai'i.POSITION SUMMARY To provide professional laundry and dry cleaning service to guests, crew and departments on board and within the limits of established company policy and procedures. In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensures the correct sorting of linens and towels, stain removal and “reject" procedures, washing, drying and folding of laundry. Proficient in the use and care of all equipment. Responsible for the cleanliness of work areas and machinery. Responsible for the storing, cleaning and distribution of all linens, towels, table linens, costumes, guest/crew laundry and dry cleaning, includes washing, spot cleaning, dry cleaning, pressing, folding and properly preparing items for return to operations to guest/crew. Sorts soiled linen on the basis of linen type, article type, and soil type. Handles stain removal and “reject" procedures by performing pre-and-post treatment of stains. Performs proper washing and dry cleaning procedures in accordance to machine instructions and care requirements. Separates torn linen while performing folding procedures. Provides assistance to stateroom stewards during turn around day by collecting the soiled linens and towels from guest staterooms if necessary. Performs other duties as assigned by the Laundry Master. Must perform to meet standards set by rules and regulations, USPH, SEMS, and NCL Hotel Operations. Reports outcomes of evaluation, goals, and anticipated projected frequency of care to supervising nurse within 24 hours of the evaluation. Participates in staff conferences and committees as necessary. Provides supervision of the OTA as per LHC policy. Prepares a written discharge summary and/or a written summary report on the patient's condition at least every 60 days. Conducts patient assessments evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Provides in-service education as requested by DON or Branch Manager.
