Information System Security Specialist

Details: Group:  MCIS Clearance Level Needed:  TS/SCI Shift:  Day Become an integral part of a diverse team that leads the world in Mission, Cyber, and Intelligence Solutions.  At ManTech International Corporation, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.ManTech is currently in need of an Information System Security Specialist for support of our government customer. Responsibilities include: Monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identifies potential threats and responds to reported security violations. Determines causes of security breaches. Researches, recommends, and implements changes to procedures to protect data from future violations. Assists in educating users on security procedures. Position Requirements:-CISSP Cert-Experience in one of the following: Network Security, Computer Forensics, Physical Security, Gov't Computer Systems, Firewall/Router Mgmt, Security Project Mgmt, Network Vulnerability Analysis-Familiar with multiple operating systems (Windows 2000/ 2003/XP/7, UNIX, Linux, Solaris) -5 years ISSM or ISSO experience-Understand the federal rules & regulations that encompass the SCI & collateral security process-Experience with DCID 6/3 and FISMA -Knowledge of exploits, attacks, and tools used by hackers-Familiar with secure implementations (VPNs, encryption technologies, IPSEC, V-LANS, wireless technologies)  Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the last 5 years and willingness to submit to a polygraph.
